this is one puzzle which can solve all the queries of life
but this topic is so confusing to get ne conclusion for this

well one thing i believe is that actually heart is always right only if everyone else in this world is thinking from heart
but bcoz mind is becoming the dominating power in this world so we have to think from mind also
and here comes all the confusions of life.....

So the whole process of living is about "belonging" and if you can't belong, u are a misfit, crux of the entire war of mind and heart Rishi.

I loved the way you've played with words, and at times you are saying similar stuff, going around in circles yet keeping my attention. Like your style boy!

Am totally with you on two counts : harmony - more n more harmony between the two, a stronger liaison between one's heart and mind; secondly, Will Power- it is the key to 'success' if you wish, when our heart tugs at the mind's logical bent, and the mind tugs at the heart's wish to just be left alone and live in the moment.
Sorry for going on and on, but you did ask for comments, so blame me not.
I know it has taken me many years (and i go on....;-)) to wake up, and stop sleep-walking. Good luck to you, your awareness should also lead you to the harmony you obviously seek.
Bon courage Rishi et bien fait.

Dear bro,

I urge you,to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claims that any of his possessions was his own, but they share everything they have. The concept is that our "mind" is really our "spirit/soul" ....not the brain matter, but what is operating on and through the brain: our soul. Some honestly feel that our "soul" or "spirit" actually resides in our heads, because the brain is located there.

It's said that when your upset or depressed that your heart will be faster than it normally does which causes the pain. But then again it will just make your heart beat faster. Where exaclty is that pain coming from?

Is it your mind?

But your mind knows and works in logic. The heart doesn't.

So does that mean that we have two minds. One that is goverened by logic and one that is governed by feeling. Where does the heart come into play in all this if its all the minds doing.

And if it is all the minds doing of feeling then we as humans should know that right from wrong, love from hate. Know when to love a person or when not to when the love isnt returned. Yet we fail do to so.

Where is that point in us that our brains fail to listen to the logic and truth in front of us and we are helpless to our feelings, governed by it if you will.

Still if you think of it more, if we are purely goverened by logic then we would practically be machines. What seperates us from it is our feelings.

So, correct me if I am wrong , the blog should be titled as --

Where exactly is it that we feel from? Heart? Mind? Or Soul?

I do have more ideas, but when I can put it down without people reading and saying "?!?....what?" I will wait and listen to what you have to say and to people responses. its again my mental soul attached to this . Lolz

Thank you for reading my mindless babble.. =)

Regards,

@Rishabh Its not about the intention but the dilemma where mind and heart chose to take separate ways! Soul is nothing more than a steering where either mind or heart can be the driving agent. Then what? Who's gonna be there at the driving seat and accept the consequences?

hey dear,

there is nothing wrong when u say that mind and heart normally contradicts. And there are times when u have to listen to your mind or vice-versa,
but I feel your inner soul should personally reflect your actions. do best to what u feel and shouldn't repent if one's done !!

it's all about intension !! There is nothing wrong in using the word Blow and Job in the same sentence !!

cheers to life !!

It does! but, I will pass it for now ... If I will answer this bell now, its gonna tempt me to jot 2000 more words to express this "tring". Even though a valid perspective but will leave it off for later ... haha *point noted*

hmm... Before getting into mind "vs" heart... look at the following sentences -

This is MY SHIRT.
This is MY BIKE.

Both suggest that there are two entities - MY (as in me) and Shirt, ie, I am different, and shirt is different...

or I am different and bike is different...

Similarly, MY BOOK, MY PHONE etc etc...

Now, take a look at these phrases -

MY MIND
MY HEART

Me and my MIND are two different entities... Similarly me and my HEART are two different entities.

So why ask "my MIND" or "my HEART" and not ask "ME"???

Does that "tringggg" a bell?

Cheers!

I agree on the solution part... The better the relationship between your mind & heart, the stronger will be your willpower.

Loved it..!! My mind says its a practical approach & I usually listen to my heart.. :)

Rishi,
You've made this a piece well worth the recording....it's sentimental in a very special way, it's got a yearning in it, which is not visible, just felt. You've got the right "pen" in your fingers...a heart that ponders and reflects, a mind that lets nothing go by unnoticed, unfelt (if i may coin a word)....good going as says Vidisha.

I have to also admit, and shamelessly at that, that i feel proud to have taught and be loved by a batch like yours. For a teacher such open and warm praise is truly worth every moment spent in our classroom environment. As you know Rishi, and only too well, a dynamic class only happens when there is flow, there is exchange of energy and knowledge passes through without one's knowledge ;-) I am the happiest person to have met so many like you, and that you keep in touch with such affection, what more can i want at the start of a New Year....wishing you the very best Rishi, and much success and happiness in your future. Keep up the good work (and i mean GOOD work :-) Cheers, with love always Kay
